I was lucky enough to design two challenge coin designs for the Royal Navy’s Crew 4 from 2nd Mine Counter-measures Squadron.

The crew, stationed in the Gulf, rotate every few months with their counterparts in Portsmouth. One military tradition is to collect small metal coins designed to remember the crew and deployment, these are called challenge coins.
